Career Progression in the Merchant Navy Orientation Program (MNOP)

Merchant Navy Orientation Program at First Attempt Marine Services

The Merchant Navy Orientation Program (MNOP) is a 45-day course tailored for individuals aspiring to join the merchant navy after completing their 10th standard, particularly those with budget constraints. This program serves as a valuable opportunity for participants to acquire insights and training relevant to the merchant navy.

Integral to the program is the compulsory STCW (Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping) course. STCW equips candidates with essential skills and knowledge to ensure both their safety and that of the ship’s crew while at sea. It addresses various scenarios that may arise on the open sea, providing effective strategies for managing them.

Our primary goal is to groom highly skilled merchant mariners, fostering both technical and soft skills necessary for a successful career in the Merchant Navy. We are committed to delivering top-notch training to empower our candidates for success. Upon the successful completion of the program, we also facilitate the placement of trained crew members on vessels under our management.
